Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports for senior management. Analyse financial results and identify variances between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Develop clear financial reports and dashboards for management review. Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the annual budgeting process across departments. Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support business planning. Monitor departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets. Cost Management & Control: Monitor and analyse project costs, operational expenses, and procurement spending. Develop and implement cost control mechanisms to improve financial discipline. Conduct profitability and margin analysis across projects and operations. Financial Planning & Business Support: Support the Finance Controller in financial planning, investment analysis, and financial modelling. Provide financial guidance to management on cost optimisation and revenue improvement opportunities. Participate in strategic initiatives requiring financial analysis. Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial documentation. Strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets. Systems & Process Improvement: Support the implementation and optimisation of financial reporting systems and ERP tools. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in financial reporting and budgeting processes.
