Description
Job role Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults both onsite and remotely. Install, troubleshoot, repair, update, and maintain workstations and laptops. Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and multifunctional printers. Guide end users through step-by-step actions, either face-to-face or remotely, to help set up systems or resolve technical issues. Work directly with vendors to coordinate and schedule repairs or replacement of computer hardware and related equipment. Monitor and maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, including access points, routers, and switches. Prioritize, track, and manage assigned cases logged on the ICT Helpdesk ticketing system to ensure timely resolution and service delivery. Support IT process automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention in routine IT tasks. Deliver cybersecurity awareness and training sessions to staff to strengthen information security practices and reduce organizational risk. Conduct digital productivity training for users on enterprise tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and collaboration across the organization. Develop and maintain data analytics and reporting dashboards, providing actionable insights on IT operations, service performance, and user support metrics. Carry out any other duties and assignments as may be delegated by the IT Manager
