Inventory Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations within a growing herbal company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and implementing efficient systems that reduce waste, prevent stock discrepancies, and support overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee inventory levels across all locations to ensure product availability and avoid stockouts or overstocking Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies Conduct routine stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely restocking Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors Monitor inventory costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement Prepare periodic inventory reports and provide insights to management Analyze inventory trends to support forecasting and strategic decision-making Track slow-moving and fast-moving items and recommend appropriate actions Develop and continuously improve inventory management processes and systems Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and storage practices (manual or digital systems) Supervise inventory staff and coordinate daily warehouse activities Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 6–10 years of proven experience in inventory or warehouse management Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Benefits Competitive salary package Performance-based bonuses Health insurance and comprehensive benefits Opportunities for professional development and career growth
