KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic HR & Business Partnership Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy Translate business goals into actionable HR strategies Provide insights on workforce cost optimization and productivity Align HR systems with the company’s financial and operational realities Organizational Structure & Workforce Planning Design and optimize organizational structures across branches Develop workforce plans aligned with business expansion Ensure adequate staffing levels across shifts and locations Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead end-to-end recruitment for all levels (frontline to management) Develop structured recruitment pipelines for retail roles Ensure quality, speed, and fit of hires Attrition Management & Retention Strategy Diagnose root causes of staff turnover Design and implement retention strategies Improve employee engagement and satisfaction Establish systems for tracking and managing attrition Performance Management & Productivity Implement performance management systems across branches Define measurable productivity standards for retail staff Drive accountability at all levels Employee Relations & Discipline Handle grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions Enforce workplace policies consistently Build a structured and compliant work environment HR Operations & Administration Oversee payroll inputs, attendance systems, and HR records Ensure proper documentation across all branches Maintain HR data integrity and reporting Policy Development & Compliance Develop and implement HR policies aligned with Nigerian labour laws Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Align internal practices with global HR standards where applicable Training & Development Identify skill gaps and deploy targeted training programs Strengthen branch-level leadership capability Drive onboarding and continuous development systems Retail Workforce Oversight Manage shift-based workforce structures Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct Address operational HR issues specific to retail environments
