FTTH Engineer

Role Description The FTTH Engineer role at Spectranet Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The FTTH Engineer will oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) networks. Responsibilities include implementing fiber optic network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring optimal network functionality. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service quality and adhering to safety and quality standards. Qualifications Proficiency in FTTH network design, deployment, and troubleshooting techniques Technical expertise in fiber optic technology, splicing, and testing Strong skills in network monitoring tools and performance optimization Knowledge of safety and quality standards related to network infrastructure Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Previous experience in telecommunications or Internet service provider industry is advantageous Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field Professional certifications in fiber optics or related areas are a plus
