Fiber Installation Support Technician

Key Responsibilities Assist fiber installation teams with day-to-day deployment tasks. Run and pull fiber optic cables through ducts, trenches, and buildings. Lay and secure HDPE ducts and conduits. Remove interlocks and other physical obstructions on-site. Support thrust boring operations and other trenchless installation techniques. Perform physical groundwork as required during fiber deployments. Be on-call and readily available to respond to urgent assignments, including weekends and holidays. Ensure tools and materials are properly used, stored, and maintained. Follow all company and industry safety protocols during fieldwork. Coordinate effectively with the field supervisor and back office on deployment progress and issues. Requirements Prior experience in fiber installation or civil works. Familiarity with tools and techniques used in cable pulling and duct installation. Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and readiness to work flexible hours. Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. Must be reachable by phone and available to report to the field on short notice. Safety-conscious with knowledge of basic HSE practices.
