Factory Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Directly supervise, train, and manage a team of unskilled laborers. Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate, day-to-day records of all goods received, transferred, and dispatched. Ensure that inventory counts match physical stock and report discrepancies immediately. Monitor the production line to ensure targets are met without compromising quality. Troubleshoot bottlenecks and reallocate labor resources as needed to maintain workflow. Inspect finished goods and raw materials to ensure they meet company standards. Conduct on-the-job training for unskilled laborers to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and gradually build a more capable workforce. Enforce workplace discipline while fostering a positive work environment to reduce turnover and improve efficiency among the unskilled workforce. Ensure that all machinery, tools, and workstations are kept clean, organized, and in safe working condition. Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and report any safety hazards immediately. Prepare detailed end-of-shift reports summarizing production output, labor attendance, inventory movements, and any issues encountered. Coordinate with incoming supervisors to ensure seamless shift transitions and continuity of operations. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management, Production Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Factory Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Demonstrated experience managing large teams of unskilled or semi-skilled laborers. Strong mathematical and documentation skills; experience with inventory management systems. Excellent communication skills to effectively direct workers and report to management. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
