Fabrication Manager (3 Wheeler Automobile)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and process-driven Automobile Fabrication Manager to lead the end-to-end fabrication and body-building operations for our Three-Wheeler (3W) product line. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive fabrication, sheet metal forming, welding processes, jig & fixture design, and will ensure high-quality output through strong leadership, planning, and process optimization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related discipline. 6–10 years of relevant experience in fabrication & body shop operations, ideally in a 3-wheeler or light commercial vehicle segment. Strong technical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, robotic welding (preferred), and structural assembly. Experience with fabrication CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP and MES systems. Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills. Familiarity with quality assurance tools like FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PPAP. Preferred Candidate: Experience with 3-wheeler chassis or composite body manufacturing. Certifications in Welding Inspection, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt). Hands-on experience in setting up new fabrication lines or automation cells.
