Experienced Driver

Job Description We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver who is skilled in driving both light and heavy-duty vehicles, including Canter Trucks, Iveco Trucks, and Chevrolet vehicles. The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, safety consciousness, and good knowledge of road regulations. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspections, adhering to traffic laws, maintaining delivery schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Key Responsibilities Safely drive and operate company vehicles, including the Canter Truck, the Iveco Truck, and the Chevrolet Transport staff, goods, and materials to assigned destinations as required Assist with other logistical or warehouse duties as required. Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are in good working condition Report vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents promptly Maintain cleanliness and proper use of assigned vehicles Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety procedures at all times. Assist with the loading and offloading of goods when required Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance Requirements / Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven professional driving experience. Valid Nigerian Driver’s License Good knowledge of Lagos and interstate routes Ability to drive long distances when required Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
