Dispatch Rider/ Delivery Rider

Job Summary The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages, documents, and goods to customers. The role involves navigating routes efficiently, maintaining delivery records, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Delivery Operations Pick up and deliver items to clients promptly and safely Ensure all deliveries are completed within the assigned time frame Follow assigned routes and optimize delivery efficiency Package Handling Verify items before dispatch to ensure accuracy Handle goods carefully to avoid damage during transit Obtain signatures or proof of delivery where required Navigation & Route Planning Use maps or GPS to locate delivery addresses Plan the most efficient routes to reduce delivery time Adjust routes when necessary due to traffic or delays Customer Service Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries Provide updates on delivery status when needed Handle basic customer concerns politely Record Keeping Maintain accurate delivery logs and records Report completed deliveries, delays, or issues Keep track of fuel usage and mileage if required Bike Maintenance & Safety Ensure the motorcycle is in good working condition Perform daily checks (fuel, brakes, tires, lights) Follow all road safety regulations and company policies Compliance Adhere to traffic laws and safety guidelines Wear appropriate safety gear (helmet, reflective jacket) Maintain a valid rider’s license and required documents Skills Good knowledge of local routes and road networks Ability to read maps and use GPS devices Strong time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills
