Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Digital Sales & E-Commerce Operations Specialist to manage and optimize all our online sales channels. This role combines IT proficiency, platform management, and revenue optimization across multiple digital marketplaces and internal systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across platforms such as company website, Jiji, Jumia, O-Force, and wholesale channels, while driving efficiency, automation, and sales growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all digital sales platforms including website, Jiji, Jumia, O-Force, and wholesale portals. Monitor daily orders across all platforms and ensure timely processing, fulfillment, and delivery coordination. Optimize product listings (descriptions, pricing, images, SEO keywords) to improve visibility and conversions. Ensure real-time inventory synchronization across all platforms to prevent stock discrepancies. Troubleshoot technical issues related to website functionality, payment gateways, and platform integrations. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, promotions, and product launches across digital channels. Analyze sales data and generate performance reports (traffic, conversion rate, revenue trends). Implement automation tools to streamline order management, customer communication, and reporting processes. Manage backend operations of the company website (updates, uploads, UX improvements). Ensure all platforms align with brand standards, pricing strategy, and customer experience expectations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints originating from digital platforms in a timely and professional manner. Liaise with third-party platform representatives (Jumia, Jiji, etc.) for issue resolution and optimization opportunities. Maintain data security and ensure compliance with digital best practices. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, E-Commerce, or related fields 2 - 5 years’ experience in e-commerce management, digital operations, or IT support role. Strong understanding of platforms like Jumia, Jiji, Shopify/WordPress (or similar CMS). Proficiency in basic web management (HTML, CMS tools, backend dashboards). Experience with payment gateways and order management systems. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales and performance data. High level of organization and attention to detail. Ability to multitask XXXX XXXX multiple platforms simultaneously. Preferred Skills: Experience with inventory management systems Basic knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, ads, email marketing) Familiarity with automation tools and CRM systems Graphic/content tools knowledge (Canva, product uploads, etc.) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
