Detailing Engineer (OFWL)

Job Summary The Detailing Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings for fabrication and construction purposes. The role involves translating engineering designs into shop drawings, ensuring precision, compliance with standards, and seamless coordination with production teams. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed fabrication/shop drawings from design and engineering inputs Interpret structural and mechanical drawings, specifications, and client requirements Develop cutting lists, material take-offs, and bills of materials (BOM) Ensure drawings meet fabrication standards and are production-ready Coordinate with production, project, and design teams to resolve technical issues Revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and project changes Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field 2–5 years of experience in detailing within a fabrication or construction environment.
