Chief Operating Officer (Oil Palm)

Job Objective Lead and optimize all operational activities (plantation, milling, logistics, and supply chain) to ensure efficiency, profitability, compliance, and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Support the MD/CEO in defining and executing strategy. Oversee plantation and milling operations to maximize yield, efficiency, and quality. Drive mechanization, modernization, and sustainability initiatives. Manage budgets, control costs, and track KPIs for performance improvement. Lead and develop teams, ensuring productivity and accountability. Ensure compliance with RSPO, ISO, and regulatory standards. Manage operational risks, stakeholder engagement, and community relations. Provide regular operational reports and support board/investor engagements. Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred). 15+ years’ experience in agribusiness/plantation operations, with 5+ years in senior leadership. Strong experience in oil palm operations, sustainability standards, and budget management. Professional Certificate (Preferred): PMP, Lean Six Sigma, RSPO, ISO, HSE (NEBOSH/IOSH), or relevant professional memberships.
