Job Summary The Carpenter will be responsible for repairs, installs, and maintains wooden structures and fixtures within residential units and common areas. Responsibilities include repairing doors, cabinets, and flooring, installing drywall, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure resident safety and unit functionality while adhering to building codes. Responsibilities Repairing or replacing cabinets, countertops, doors, and flooring between tenant move-ins. Inspecting and fixing wood structures, window frames, door locks, and hardware to ensure safety. Patching drywall, installing trim, molding, and skirting boards. Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks). Responding to resident work orders regarding damaged carpentry items, such as broken cabinets or jammed doors. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter, particularly in residential or property maintenance settings. Proficiency with power and hand tools (saws, drills, levels). Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in varied positions. Good communication skills to work with tenants and property management.
