Business Development Manager

Job Purpose / Summary The Business Development Manager (BDM) will identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the company’s presence in the real estate market. This role requires a seasoned professional who is resourceful with a deep understanding of the real estate industry, exceptional networking skills, strong leadership ability, and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships. Key Functions / Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate markets. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet company growth objectives. Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, investors, brokers, and industry professionals. Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments. Lead negotiations and manage the sales process for high-value deals. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and develop new business leads. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on sales performance and business development activities. Collaborate with senior management to refine business strategies and adjust to market changes. Mentor and guide junior business development team members, sharing industry insights and best practices. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate or other related fields Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the real estate industry. Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and driving revenue growth. Strong understanding of real estate market trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
