Description The current Infinix marketing team is primarily execution-driven, with limited capability in generating deep local insights and culturally relevant creative solutions. We are therefore seeking an experienced marketing professional to serve as a Local Marketing Manager, who can work closely with the regional marketing lead and content strategy director to enhance localized communication, strengthen brand storytelling, and elevate overall brand perception in the market. Responsibilities Lead and manage the local marketing team, including task allocation, performance management, and team development; continuously optimize team SOPs and workflows. Generate strong local market insights and consumer understanding, and translate them into actionable marketing plans for key moments such as product launches and campaign activations. Take ownership of both marketing effectiveness and communication outcomes, supporting business and sales objectives. Develop annual marketing strategies, including brand strategy, social media strategy, and audience segmentation. Identify and develop brand partnership opportunities, as well as explore external collaboration projects to enhance brand influence. Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timely and high-quality execution. Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends, and provide strategic guidance to ongoing marketing activities. Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years of team management experience (managing teams of 10+ members preferred). Strong sense of aesthetics with the ability to guide and oversee external visual outputs. Proven ability in generating sharp insights and creative ideas rooted in local culture. Experience in FMCG or consumer electronics (3C) industry; both client-side and agency backgrounds are welcome. Well-established local network, including media, partners, and brand collaboration resources. Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging. Fluent in English with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to adapt marketing approaches based on different budget levels, and deliver effective and creative solutions accordingly. Preferred Attributes: Experience working in multicultural or global organizations. Familiarity with youth-oriented marketing and digital/social content ecosystems. Experience in managing large-scale integrated campaigns or product launches.
