Branch Manager

Job Summary A fast-growing supermarket in Lagos, with multiple branches across the state, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced and competent Branch Manager. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in retail business management, preferably within a supermarket, retail chain, or FMCG environment. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer satisfaction. Supervise, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high service delivery standards. Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and coordinate replenishment with the procurement team. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and internal controls. Prepare and present periodic sales, performance, and operational reports to management. Maintain a safe, clean, and customer-friendly store environment at all times. Implement strategies to grow revenue, reduce shrinkage, and enhance overall store performance. Requirements 5 - 10 years proven experience in a managerial role within a supermarket, retail chain, or other structured retail environment. Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Management, or any related field. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service standards. Ability to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and effectively manage staff. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
