Department: Operations/ Projects Unit Report To: Project Supervisor/ Project Manager Location: Lagos (Mainland) Salary: N 150,000 Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Support project managers by scheduling tasks, coordinating resources (e.g., personnel, equipment), and maintaining project timelines. Documentation Management: Organize and maintain project-related documents, including contracts, permits, work orders, change requests, and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines using project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and update stakeholders on progress. Prepares daily and weekly reports for all stakeholders. Communication Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, relaying information, scheduling meetings, and addressing inquiries. Budget Support: Assist with tracking project expenses, documentation meets regulatory requirements. Meeting Support: Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure alignment across teams. Data Management: Enter and update project data in CRM or ERP systems, Excel and generate reports on project status, costs, or resource utilization. Issue Resolution: Identify administrative bottlenecks (e.g., delayed permits, missing documentation) and escalate issues to the project manager for resolution. Safety & Quality Records: Maintain records related to safety compliance (e.g., OSHA logs & HSE support) and quality assurance documentation to support project audits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project administration, office coordination, or a similar role, ideally in telecommunications, construction, or a technical industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software (MS Project); familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of telecom projects (e.g., 5G, Tower structures, deployment, operations & maintenance) or willingness to learn industry-specific terminology and processes. Certifications: Certifications like CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or administrative credentials are a plus but not required. Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based. Preferred Skills Experience supporting large-scale telecom projects, such as network rollouts or infrastructure deployments. Familiarity with permitting processes or regulatory documentation in the telecom sector. Ability to interpret basic project plans, schedules, or technical documents.
