Job Summary Our organisation is seeking to recruit a diligent, detail-oriented, and trustworthy Accounts Officer to support the Accountant in the day-to-day financial and administrative duties of the organisation. The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, and capable of handling basic accounting tasks accurately and efficiently. The Accounts Officer will assist the Accountant in managing the organisation’s daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting routine financial reporting and reconciliation activities. Key Responsibilities Assist the Accountant with day-to-day accounting duties Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation Support payment processing, invoicing, and receipt management Assist with bank reconciliations and account monitoring Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records Help track expenses and support budget monitoring Assist in preparing financial reports and statements Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting entries Support payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks as required Perform other duties assigned by the Accountant or Management Qualifications and Requirements Minimum of a B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any other related field Previous relevant experience will be an added advantage Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Good numerical, analytical, and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with confidentiality and integrity
