Job Description Prepare PAYE and pension vouchers before the 12th of the preceding month. Work with the coordinator—finance & account—to prepare items required by the tax consultants on all tax issues as the need arises. Ensure statutory remittance receipts & schedules are available to meet up with invoicing requirements on or before the 12th of every month. Ensure all tax and pension queries from employees (office & field) are attended to within 24 hours of receipt of such query. Prepare PAYE, pension, NSITF & ITF updates/statuses every week & submit same for review to the coordinator, finance & accounts. Requirements Prepare petty cash reconciliation and raise entries in Lagos on or before the 5th of the preceding month. Ensure proper tracking of all vouchers raised in the department. Assist in the preparation of remittances of NSITF, pension, tax, and other statutory remittances. Raise vouchers for WHT payable schedule on or before the 20th of the preceding month. Work closely with Coordinator Finance & Account to resolve Tax & Pension matters Ensure proper tracking of all tax receipts and ensure pension and tax receipts are received. Prepare error-free transmittals for all tax & schedules for pension payments. Prepare and send out pension schedules as and when due to all PFAs within 24 hours of payment of pension. Engage and assist to coordinate all state and regulatory bodies' audits. Any other assigned duties Job Requirements B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–4 years’ relevant experience Professional certification or part-qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage. Knowledge of PAYE, Pension, NSITF, ITF & WHT Proficiency in Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
