Description
Roles & Responsibilities: Develop, review, and maintain safari tour packages, ensuring accuracy in itineraries, pricing, and supplier information. Prepare and update rate sheets, costings, and promotional offers while ensuring profitability and alignment with market conditions. Liaise with DMCs, agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate implementation of rates, contracts, and product updates. Support new product launches, website updates, and client proposals with accurate documentation and content. Monitor competitor trends, supplier changes, and regulatory updates, providing reports and pricing recommendations. Maintain up-to-date supplier, destination, and image databases, and support branding and marketing materials. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification 3-4 years’ experience in the tourism industry in product development, working with DMCs and tourism suppliers, including cost negotiation and itinerary planning In-depth knowledge of East Africa as a travel destination and small-group adventure operations Skilled in creating commercially viable, sustainable, experience-rich travel experiences, including accommodation, transport, activities, and meals Strong understanding of global sales trends in travel and customer expectations
