Commercial Manager

Description

Paykit is looking for a Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth, close enterprise partnerships, and lead our commercial team in scaling across the fintech ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and close high-value partnerships (fintechs, banks, enterprise merchants) Lead commercial negotiations and structure partnership agreements Own the full deal lifecycle from opportunity to contract execution Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline aligned with growth targets Develop strategic partnerships across the payments and digital commerce ecosystem Lead and manage Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Officers (BDOs) Set targets, support deal execution, and oversee pipeline performance Grow and expand revenue from existing partners and merchants Act as the commercial escalation point for key clients Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments Provide regular reporting on pipeline, revenue, and commercial performance Requirements Minimum 6 years experience in fintech, payments, or financial services Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and driving revenue growth Strong experience in negotiation and deal structuring Experience working with payment infrastructure (mobile money, gateways, APIs) Experience managing business development or sales teams Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Understanding of payment flows (processing, settlement, reconciliation) Familiarity with KYC, AML, and PCI DSS frameworks Experience with API-driven fintech platforms is an added advantage
