Position Overview The Nairobi Securities Exchange PLC (NSE) invites applications from suitably qualified individuals and entities for the position of Capital Markets Infrastructure Project Manager. This is a fixed-term, project-specific engagement of up to 18 months, focused on delivering a single mission-critical infrastructure modernisation initiative. The Project Manager (PM) will support in the delivery of a unified market infrastructure at the NSE. The incumbent will support overseeing the project lifecycle ensuring that it is delivered on time, budget and scope. The role demands seamless integration across trading, depository, clearing, settlement, and surveillance components which are the key features of the unified infrastructure. This position requires deep expertise in supporting large-scale, complex implementation programmes within regulated financial market infrastructure environments. Qualifications & Requirements individual applicants Domain Expertise: Minimum 4 years of proven experience managing or supporting projects in Capital Markets, Fintech, or Banking. Knowledge of trading platforms (such as ATS) or CDSC integration is an added advantage. Methodology: Expert proficiency in Agile/Scrum or Waterfall (Prince2/PMP). Tools: Mastery of MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Trello. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines and ISO data security standards. Stakeholder Management & Communication: Exceptional ability to manage crossfunctional teams and external stakeholders (vendors, regulators, market participants) Experience & Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field. Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) is mandatory. Entity Applicants Company Registration: Valid business registration certificate and tax compliance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). Organizational Experience: Minimum 6 years’ experience as an entity delivering project management services in Capital Markets, Banking, or Fintech sectors. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing at least three (3) large-scale technology implementation projects with budgets exceeding KES 50 million. Project Resource: The entity must deploy a dedicated project manager with at least similar qualifications to 3 (i) above. Certifications & Standards: The entity must hold or demonstrate familiarity with internationally recognized project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum). ISO 27001 certification or demonstrated information security management capabilities is an added advantage. References: Provide at least three (3) verifiable references from previous clients in the financial services or capital markets sector, including contact details and project descriptions.
