The Role We are seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer to lead client acquisition efforts for our client HR services. This role is not administrative, it is a frontline revenue-generating position focused on identifying, engaging, and converting potential clients. The ideal candidate understands how to sell professional services, build trust with decision-makers, and consistently close potential service contracts. Key Responsibilities Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for recruitment and HR consulting services Developing and executing sales strategies to grow the Client’s portfolio. Actively prospecting, pitching, and presenting HR solutions to potential clients. Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers. In liaison with the HR Consultants, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing business contracts. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery. Tracking progress of potential business pitches and meeting or exceeding set revenue targets. Minimum Requirements At least 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition. Proven track record in selling services (experience in HR, recruitment, or consulting is a strong advantage). Strong commercial acumen and ability to convert leads into paying clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with targets. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
