Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a local Asian Kenyan professional with solid accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets Handle accounts payable and receivable processes Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements Assist with audits and financial reviews Manage invoicing, billing, and expense tracking Support month-end and year-end closing processes Requirements Local Asian Kenyan Experience- Minimum 5 Years Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience in accounting or finance roles Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Good understanding of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations Excellent analytical and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage Experience working in a similar industry or corporate environment
