Procurement Officer (Ghanaian Nationals Only)

About The Job Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer to join our growing Commercial team in Ahafo North. Position Summary: Reporting to the Contracts Manager the Procurement Officer will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality with compliance to Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements. The Tasks You'll Perform: Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies. Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts. Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records. Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports. The Expertise You'll Bring: Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in all aspects of Procurement. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables. Extremely well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
