About The Job We are seeking a skilled and experienced Amazon Web Services (AWS) trainer to join our AWS Training Partnership (ATP) team of Information Technology (IT) professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, AWS cloud and a proven record of accomplishment in delivering effective training to students preparing for the AWS certification exams. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive AWS training certification preparation to learners in a classroom or online setting Formulate training strategies, content preparation, knowledge transfer, laboratory simulations and project work to learners Deliver Training of Trainer (TOTs) digital skills boot camps to prepare company trainers for the Instructor Candidate Assessment (ICA) that leads to AWS Authorized Instructor (AAI) accreditation Help in the sales and marketing campaigns to mobilize prospective clients through information sessions and discovery day deliveries both online and onsite Create and maintain detailed course materials and lesson plans, including hands-on labs and exercises that are tailored to client’s requirements Assess student progress, provide feedback, and offer additional support as needed Keep up to date with industry developments and incorporate modern technologies and best practices into the course curricula Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with AWS certifications and technology advancements Collaborate with other trainers and instructors to develop and improve training program and delivery standards. Qualifications: Must be an AWS Certified Solutions - Architect Must be an AWS Authorized Instructor (AAI) whose accreditation can be verified Candidate may be a graduate of Electrical and Electronics engineering, Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Telecommunication, and Informatics Proven experience as an AWS trainer or practitioner, with at least one year of experience Expert level understanding of cloud computing technologies, including: compute, storage, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), networking in the cloud, security, encryption, billing, pricing and that should extend beyond foundational working knowledge in AWS Above intermediate level working knowledge of the Linux Operating System (OS) with strong skills in network engineering, troubleshooting and problem-solving Beyond intermediate understanding of at least one scripting language like shell, JavaScript among others Working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Python or any other Object Oriented programming languages Basic understanding of DevOps concepts like Continuous Integration Continuous Development (CI\CD) Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite with excellent communication, presentation, design thinking ability as well as instructional design skills Ability to work independently and manage time with an empathetic outlook towards inclusion, diversity and the welfare of le
