Fagerhult Group is now recruiting for this Group Financial Controller position based in Stockholm. The role is global, and you will work in close cooperation with several offices and global operations where the Group has operations from Melbourne to Montreal.

The Group Financial Controller role at Fagerhult Group is a senior and important role in the Group Finance Team. The role and team work closely with the Group Finance Manager and collaborate with other Group Functions such as Tax, Legal, M&A, Sustainability and Head of Communications. The team’s main areas of responsibilities can be summarized as all financial group reporting and connected processes as well as ensuring compliance with IFRS in group consolidated accounts.

Main tasks and responsibilities as Group Financial Controller

• Group reporting internal and external, financial statements, budget and forecasts
• Group accounting and consolidation
• System administration and process improvements (Aaro)
• Review and follow-up on reported data
• Support group entities on accounting, finance and reporting related questions
• Extract data and structure reports
• Up-to date on IFRS rules
• Treasury
• Cash pool and financing topics
• Ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications and experience

A recognized university degree or similar in a relevant field.  Relevant experience with focus on group accounting and reporting. Most likely either previous experience from auditing or from international, listed environment.  High IT/system interest and knowledge where experience as a super user or admin in a group consolidation system or equivalent is a plus. Swedish and English in spoken and written form is a requirement.
