Description
Job Title: Engineering Inspector (ANDT) Roles and Responsibilities : Assist all team leaders in performing advanced ANDT techniques such as MFL, UTG Crawler, IRIS, Survey, PMI arc, and others. Perform techniques such as Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), and Remote Field Testing (RFT) independently. Carry out all necessary calibration for advanced testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results. Perform routine maintenance and periodic checks on all ANDT equipment as per the maintenance schedule. Conduct Positive Material Identification (PMI) using XRF equipment, as the inspector holds an R1 license under NEA (National Environment Agency). Comply with safety regulations on all work sites, adhering to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and client-specific safety standards and guidelines. Prepare basic reports for PMI XRF techniques, ensuring all relevant data and findings are accurately documented. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the smooth operation of the ANDT department. Additional Points: Skills Required : Proficiency in advanced ANDT techniques such as MFL, UTG Crawler, IRIS, ECT, RVI, and RFT. Knowledge of calibration procedures and maintenance schedules for advanced NDT equipment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining high-quality results. Qualifications : Relevant certifications in ANDT methods, such as NAS410 or equivalent. R1 license under NEA for performing PMI XRF testing. Minimum educational qualification in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Materials Science).
