An excellent Senior Technical Analyst (Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Kubernetes) opportunity has just arisen at a global financial institution building modern banking platforms. Job Purpose: Design and build reliable Java applications supporting business systems in a collaborative technology team. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and relational databases. Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable and efficient technical solutions. Troubleshoot complex application issues and support production systems to maintain stability and performance. Collaborate with engineers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver projects within agreed timelines. Follow best practices including automated testing, code quality standards and continuous integration processes. Job Requirements: 7+ years' experience developing backend applications using Java, Spring Boot and modern development frameworks. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and core computer science principles. Experience working with relational databases, SQL optimisation and message-based integration technologies. Familiarity with Agile development practices, automated testing and version control tools such as Git. Strong problem-solving ability with good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
