Resident Technical Officer (M&E)
Description
We are seeking for a Resident Technical Officer(M&E) to join the project commencing 1 June 2026. The estimated project duration is 34 months. Job Responsibilities: To carry out site supervision and inspection cords of all works done, including records of test inspections, status of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the installation works are constructed in compliance with the detent, specification, working/approved drawings and quality of works required under the terms of the contract. To ensure timely submissions and check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings). To monitor project progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately. To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the consultant team. To maintain proper site records and updated daily res, safety, site diary, materials and equipment onsite, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc. To check that the contractor executes preliminaries items. To check services routes and contractor’s setting out and report any deviations to the consultant team. To verify reports and monitor the progress of work on site, verify the contractors’ progress report and present the report to the DM (Development Manager) in such format that the progress payment claim by the contractor can be easily evaluated. To monitor all variations works as instructed or approved by consultant team. To attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants’ meetings. To attend to contractor’s queries and co-ordinate works of main contractor and direct contractors. To inspect completed works and ensure works are carried out in accordance to statutory requirements To undertake any other duties related to the project including supervision of M&E works as and when instructed by the consultant team. To compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificates submitted by the contractors and pass them to the DM as required for the project records and the clients’ hand-over package. To compile Punch List or Defect List with the contractors and ensure that the contractors carry out rectification work diligently to clear all defects during the Maintenance Period. To witness all the inspection, testing and commissioning sessions performed by the subcontractors to ensure compliance with designs and specifications. Job Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical or Building Services Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing. Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) as M&E Resident Technical Officer. Prior experience in supervising Healthcare project will be an advantage. A good team player and experience in assisting the consultant team / Resident Engineer in supervision. Proficient in MS Word and Excel for project update and reports. Good communication and
