SENIOR PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement PR strategies and programmes for management and client approval (e.g., LTA). Plan, coordinate, and execute functions and events for stakeholder engagement. Serve as the primary contact for all public relations and stakeholder communications. Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, businesses, media outlets, and key stakeholders near construction sites. Manage public inquiries, complaints, and feedback through various channels (e.g., hotline, emails, site visits), ensuring prompt resolution and escalation where necessary. Monitor construction site activities and proactively address any public concerns or inconveniences. Coordinate project briefings involving LTA, project teams, and stakeholders. Prepare and distribute communication materials such as newsletters, circulars, notices, and correspondence. Conduct site walks and house-to-house visits to engage with affected communities. Prepare monthly reports, stakeholder engagement reports, and programme updates for clients. Perform general PR administrative duties, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping. Requirements: Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent Minimum 5 years of relevant Public Relations experience in the construction/infrastructure sector. Experience handling LTA projects is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Proactive, independent, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work a 5.5 day work week Familiarity with crisis communication and media relations. Experience with social media PR campaigns. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
