The Local Cafe offers comfort meals, toasts, familiar beverages like Kopi O, Teh, Milo! We also have retail minimart that sells snacks, cup noodles and beverages. Job Summary Join The Local Cafe as a Part Time Cafe Crew member, serving local coffee, tea, and food items in a friendly, air-conditioned environment. No prior experience is required, and you will learn new skills while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately to ensure correct food and beverage preparation Process online food orders efficiently to meet customer expectations Prepare artisanal and signature toasts following established recipes and quality standards Concoct Kopi, Teh, and other beverages by learning and applying our unique preparation methods Prepare local food items consistently to maintain taste and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support food safety and operational efficiency Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth and friendly service during shifts Manage multiple tasks simultaneously during busy periods to maintain service flow Required competencies and certifications Hold a valid Food Hygiene Level 1 Certification to comply with food safety regulations Demonstrate teamwork by actively supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure accurate order taking and service Preferred competencies and qualifications Ability to multitask XXXX XXXX a fast-paced cafe setting to maintain service quality Other Information Part Time: $11.30 - $13 per hour Flexible work schedule; please indicate your availability Performance bonus available Staff meal provided Minimum 6 hours work per shift Additional $1 per hour for shifts at Singapore Expo and/or on Public Holidays Work locations include: 2 Jalan Lokam (Kensington Square) - nearest MRT station Bartley CC12 9 Yio Chu Kang (Space @ Kovan) - nearest MRT station Serangoon NE12 / CC13 Singapore Expo Max Atria - nearest MRT station Expo DT35 Citygate at Beach Road - nearest MRT station Nicoll Highway CC5 This is a non-halal cafe
