Financial Systems Analyst

Job Summary: Role: Financial Systems Analyst Start: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Location: Singapore We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst with strong experience in banking or financial services, specializing in AML and compliance workflows. This role combines functional analysis and technical design responsibilities to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable, system-driven workflow solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on exposure to workflow platforms (e.g., OpenText, Appian, Pega, IBM BPM) and can effectively bridge business and IT teams to ensure seamless delivery across the project lifecycle. Requirements:

• 6–10 years of experience in Systems Analyst / Financial Systems Analyst roles within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of AML, financial crime, and compliance processes, and how these are implemented in systems/workflows.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to workflow/BPM platforms such as OpenText, Appian, Pega, or IBM BPM.
• Proven ability to bridge business and IT, translating regulatory and business needs into system-driven solutions.
• Strong experience in functional analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
• Experience deg end-to-end workflows, process flows, and system interactions.
• Good understanding of SDLC, integration patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience supporting testing activities, defect management, and change request assessments. Preferred:
• Experience working on AML platforms or compliance systems.
• Familiarity with process modelling tools (Visio, BPMN tools).
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis for validation purposes.
• Experience working in regulated environments and large enterprise systems. Roles and Responsibilities:
• Analyze and translate AML/compliance business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system workflows.
• Design and document end-to-end workflow processes and user journeys using workflow/BPM platforms (e.g., OpenText, Appian, Pega, IBM BPM).
• Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring compliance requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain functional and technical design documentation aligned with architecture and security standards.
• Ensure traceability from business requirements to functional specifications and system design.
• Collaborate with Developers, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendors during build, test, and deployment phases.
• Support testing activities, including defect clarification, scope validation, and change request assessment.
• Contribute to SDLC deliverables such as Functional Specs, Design Documents, and Data-related documentation.
• Work with Security Architects to support threat modelling and compliance controls implementation.
• Partner with Production Support teams to define operational processes and system readiness.
