Automation Test Engineer (Playwright / API / Performance Testing)

Location - Toa Payoh 1-year contract Hands-on experience in Playwright, JMeter, or Robot Framework is required. Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Robot Framework, or JMeter
• Execute automated tests for functional, regression, API, and performance testing
• Analyse test results, log defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities
• Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles using automation tools
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
• Maintain and update test documentation, scripts, and frameworks-Perform data-driven testing, parameterization, and environment configuration
• Monitor test coverage and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement
• Provide guidance on automation best practices and support knowledge transfer to QA teams Top 3 MUST have skills:

1. Hands-on experience in automated testing using Playwright, JMeter, or Robot Framework for web, API, and performance testing.
2. Ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, validate test results, and ensure coverage across functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Experience in analyzing test failures, identifying root causes, and reporting defects clearly to development teams and stakeholders. Good to have skills (Optional)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail)
• Ability to create data-driven and keyword-driven test frameworks
• Knowledge of security and accessibility testing basics
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing
