AML / Compliance Analyst (Contract) We are seeking a detail-oriented AML / Compliance Analyst to support regulatory compliance operations, focusing on customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and risk assessment activities. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding the organization against financial crime risks and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and periodic account reviews in accordance with regulatory requirements Assess and analyse transaction patterns to identify unusual or potentially suspicious behaviour Review and resolve alerts generated from screening and transaction monitoring systems in a timely and accurate manner Perform risk assessments on new and existing clients, including trigger event reviews Prepare clear and detailed investigation notes, documentation, and audit trails Support process enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time Contribute to the development and updating of policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective case resolution Handle additional compliance-related tasks and special projects as assigned Requirements Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline Minimum 1–3 years of experience in AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, or Transaction Monitoring within financial institutions Familiarity with name screening systems and alert handling workflows Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting strict turnaround timelines Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and regulated environment
