Research Engineer I (Computer Science / Electrical Engineering)

The Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) represents a key collaboration between Alibaba Group and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Supported by the Singapore RIE2025 Fund, ANGEL creates and deploys impactful green digital technologies for global sustainability. We are looking for a Research Engineer to work on the NLP project The role will focus on researching the LLM effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Research and develop novel ML-based methodologies and algorithms for multilingual and multimodal LLMs. Working closely with other Postdoc/RA/PhD students to discuss the ideas and implement the system. The research should lead to publications in top-tier international conferences and journals Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines Prior experience in NLP, and state-of-the-art ML techniques would be a plus; Good interpersonal communication and oral presentation skills; Experienced in working in a team, with people of diverse skillsets and cultural background We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
