SAP Basis Lead
Description
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager (SAP) who will take a key role in our team. The successful candidate will join the Information Technology Division, Cloud & Platforms department and will be responsible for the following: • Set the technology roadmap and standards for our SAP platform and applications, including SAP Cloud solutions / platforms. • Provide the technical leadership in the SAP Basis area and drive outcomes for projects and BAU-related work across the SAP landscape. • Responsible for setting and maintaining operational procedures, processes and controls and working with SAP Basis support. • Responsible for security, configuration, patching, review of SAP GRC SOD/SAT rules and violations and working with security/audit teams (both internal and external). • Managing licence audits with SAP audit team. • Managing inventory and re-certification of servers, software versions, system IDs, etc. • Managing admin user access/reviews, planning complex system changes. • Review system architecture design changes and new implementation. • Managing server resource utilization and costs and system performance optimization. • Run and manage various upgrade projects to the core SAP platform and support business users with application changes/migrations. • This role is an individual contributor role. Requirements • University degree in an IT related discipline. • More than five years of experience working with SAP BASIS in multiple roles, such as team lead or manager. • Strong technical domain knowledge and hands on experience in SAP Cloud solutions & platforms in a Basis role, especially in complex SAP landscapes involving on-prem, on-cloud and RISE setups. • Strong general IT knowledge covering servers, storage, networks, browsers, printers, basic UNIX admin tasks, basic Windows OS admin tasks, public cloud & its services, etc. • Ability to manage vendors, project teams and users to ensure standards & timely delivery. • Ability to engage and lead multiple support teams to resolve incidents or issues. • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to resolve conflicts Please refer to U3’s Notice for Job Applicants/Seekers at https://u3infotech.com/-notice-job-applicants/.
