Job Summary A sales supervisor leads and supports a sales team to achieve business growth by building client relationships, enforcing policies, monitoring performance, and identifying market opportunities. Responsibilities Provide employees with necessary tools and deliver targeted training to enhance job performance and success Build and maintain long-term business partnerships with key clients to drive sales growth Analyze managerial reports to identify improvement areas and new market growth opportunities Develop, communicate, and enforce company policies on customer relations, sales techniques, and ethical standards Design and implement training programs for new hires and staff promoted to new roles to ensure readiness Monitor employee performance against goals and company policies to maintain high standards Lead and manage a sales team to ensure effective job execution and achievement of sales targets Review customer orders and inventory levels to guarantee fulfillment of customer needs Conduct market research to discover and evaluate new industry growth opportunities
