Data Visualisation Developer / BI engineer 🔹 Role Overview We are seeking a Data Visualization Developer / BI Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions. This role goes beyond dashboard development — you will be responsible for guiding best practices, and delivering impactful insights across multiple BI platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and data engineers to translate complex data into meaningful, business-driven outcomes. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of end-to-end BI and data visualization solutions Define and implement data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks Engage stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions Drive KPI definition, metric standardization, and data storytelling across business functions Ensure performance optimization across data models, queries, and dashboards Establish and enforce data governance, consistency, and reporting standards Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and analysts Collaborate with data engineering teams on data pipelines, architecture, and integration Evaluate and recommend appropriate BI tools and visualization approaches based on use cases Lead or support client workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and solution presentations 🔹 Required Technical Skills (Must Have) Strong experience across BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) Proficiency in data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling, semantic layers) Strong SQL skills for complex querying and data transformation Experience deg scalable and performant reporting solutions Solid understanding of data visualization principles and storytelling techniques Hands-on experience with at least one major BI platform (Power BI experience required but not limited to it) 🔹 Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Fabric) Exposure to data warehousing concepts (e.g., Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture) Experience with ETL / ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis or automation 🔹 Experience & Qualifications 2–3+ years of experience in BI, data visualization, or analytics roles Proven experience delivering enterprise BI solutions across multiple projects or clients Experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments Certifications (e.g., Microsoft PL-300, Tableau, AWS/Azure certifications) are advantageous 🔹 Soft Skills Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage business users Ability to translate complex data into clear, business-friendly insights Excellent communication and presentation skills Strategic thinking with a focus on business value and outcomes Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
