Head of Fundraising

Overview: The Head of Fundraising is responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure sustainable funding in support of the nursing homes, welfare home, and active ageing centres’ operations and programmes. The role also focuses on strengthening long-term financial sustainability by building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and the wider community. Key Responsibilities: Design, plan, and execute fundraising initiatives, campaigns, events, and donor engagement activities to achieve fundraising targets. Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy and plan. Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing donors, including individuals and corporate partners, to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and collaborations. Serve as the secretariat to the Board of Directors and the Fundraising Sub-Committee (FRSC), ensuring effective coordination and follow-up. Execute fundraising strategies in alignment with discussions with the CEO, while serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Chairman of FRSC, and President. Collaborate closely with all Heads of Departments to ensure alignment and achievement of fundraising targets. Maintain in-depth knowledge of SNM’s programmes and services to effectively articulate organisational needs and impact to donors and stakeholders. Integrate fundraising initiatives with communications strategies, working closely with the Communications team and Communications Sub-Committee to maximise brand visibility and fundraising opportunities. Identify, develop, and monitor grant proposals and funding opportunities to support organisational growth. Job Requirements: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in non-profit sector Strong network with donors, corporates, and community partners Knowledge of service sector standards and practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills and proficient in MS Office. Able to work in the evenings and weekends when required.
