[1year contract, renewable] About the job As a UX writer, you’re part of a team that’s creating and shaping intuitive digital experiences for residents in Singapore. You’ll make word choices and content recommendations that put users first. Develop a unified voice. And drive a coherent narrative across the entire user experience. To do so, you’ll work closely with many people, including designers, engineers, business analysts, product managers, as well as public officers in other government agencies. About the team You’ll be a member of the UX team in Digital Society Products (DSP), part of the Government Digital Products (GDP) group in GovTech.

Responsibilities ● Work on multiple products within the DSP team’s portfolio ● Write clear and meaningful user interface copy ● Contribute to development of user flows and content strategy ● Establish voice and tone guidelines, and maintain a glossary to ensure consistent use of terms ● Work with translators to localize the user experience into multiple languages ● Design and conduct usability studies, and use findings to improve our work ● Drive Information Architecture (IA) activities, including content audits, inventories, card-sorting and tree-testing. ● Collaborate with designers, engineers, business analysts, product managers regularly ● Solicit and adapt to feedback by team members and other stakeholders while maintaining a user-centric mindset ● Educate team and influence decisions around UX and content strategy by articulating rationale for content recommendations ● Improve overall quality of our writing, as well as UX and content delivery processes Minimum qualifications ● At least 2 years of professional experience in user-centric writing for digital products, some of which should still be in use today. ● Good interpersonal skills, an analytical mind, and sound judgement ● Adept at working in a cross-functional team environment ● Passion for improving the citizen experience across government services Bonus qualifications ● Experience with user research processes, and ability to drive research activities such as usability testing, A/B testing, stakeholder interviews, surveys, and translate research findings into actionable recommendations ● Familiar with UX wireframing and design tools such as Sketch and Figma ● Experience in Agile and UX development environment
