Assignment start: Immediate Assignment period: Approximately 6 months

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring production meets high standards through effective management of the quality system, including documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves analyzing production-related claims, leading quality control efforts, and supporting the R&D department in process assurance. The Quality Manager also represents the company in regulatory audits and ensures the achievement of necessary certifications. The jobholder is member of the Factory Leadership Team, and reports to the Global Head of Quality.

OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for analyzing claims and complaints related to our production
  • Manage the quality system and keep documentation up to date
  • Ensure that the factory achieves quality standards through daily planning, prioritization and follow-up of the quality work
  • Improvement work in the process around quality and work environment and actively working with environmental objectives and compliance
  • Deliver necessary standard operation procedures for quality control and testing
  • Maintain the Quality and Food Safety system and ensure that the documentation is up to date
  • HACCP/VACCP Leader
  • Contact with the production team to promote good communication and work environment
  • Support the Research & Development department in process and quality assurance from a production viewpoint
  • Supervision of contract laboratories including negotiation and implementation of quality agreements
  • Act as a company representative at the Swedish Food Agency and other local and global regulatory authorities regarding regulatory audits
  • Ensure that selected certifications are achieved

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid experience in quality and environment work
  • Work experience in quality assurance
  • Problem solver
  • Strong aptitude for dealing with ambiguity, managing multiple projects, and balancing competing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Strong Team player who supports colleagues as needed
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Microsoft Office skills is a given
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • both Swedish and English
  • Driver’s license required
