SAP ERP Specialist (Finance)

Join an international company operating in the premium retail and fashion sector, known for its global presence and modern organizational culture. We are looking for a SAP ERP Specialist (Finance) with experience in finance area to cooperate closely with the finance team during legacy platform migrationn to SAP. This role is based in Milan, with the flexibility of working two days remotely.

Key responsibilities Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts of the existing legacy platforms to support the migration to SAP Support business teams in Finance and HR-related processes Provide second-level support for SAP technical and application-related issues Identify process gaps and document standard operating procedures Prepare and deliver training sessions for business stakeholders using ERP and HR systems Understand strategic business drivers and collect requirements to support execution and planning of the IT Business Application Roadmap

Ideal candidate profile You hold a university degree in computer engineering, business administration, or have equivalent experience in a similar technology-focused role You have prior experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system, particularly within Finance Hands-on experience with SAP migration projects would be considered a strong asset You possess knowledge of international and cross-border finance topics, ideally with experience in the fashion industry Familiarity with HR processes and/or prior involvement in HR platform implementations is a plus Understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies for application support and requirements-driven project management is an additional advantage You have excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a plus
