DevOps Engineer (Observability)

Key responsibilities

Implement and manage observability solutions across modern AWS cloud platforms

Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, LGTM stack)

Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with observability best practices in mind

Automate metrics/logs/traces collection and visualization to track system health

Work with IaC tools like Terraform to provision cloud resources with observability in focus

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve observability standards

Ideal candidate profile

Some years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles focused on observability

Experience with OpenTelemetry, AWS X-Ray, CloudWatch, ADOT, Grafana

Proficiency in AWS plus familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

AWS certifications (e.g., SysOps Admin, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)

Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD / CKS)

Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and security best practices

Experience with CI/CD tools and practices and Platform Engineering principles
