About the Role: We are seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join an exciting initiative focused on improving data-driven decision-making for retail site planning and development. The work focuses on enhancing the Customer Meeting Point (CMP) Design Services by improving early-stage planning through better evaluation of potential locations, more accurate dimensioning, and compliance with retail standards. You will help optimize workflows, improve tool logic, and ensure seamless transitions between assessment, dimensioning, and architectural design phases. Your contributions will help reduce rework, improve decision-making, and support the efficient opening of new retail sites. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the CMP data foundation and supporting both frontend and backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from ideation and wireframes to development, testing, deployment, and post-release follow-up.
• Design and implement user-facing web screens, focusing on usability, responsiveness, and security.
• Implement and integrate Azure-based authentication using OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect to enable secure, role-based access control (RBAC).
• Develop and maintain backend APIs, including secure file handling and integration with Azure Storage.
• Ensure high-quality code by adhering to coding standards, secure development practices, documentation requirements, and release processes.
• Leverage the Azure ecosystem and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Follow API design best practices, including RESTful principles, secure data handling, and proper authentication/authorization.
• Use AI tools to increase efficiency and development outcomes.
• Lead and mentor other developers, perform code reviews, and ensure consistent code quality across the team.

Requirements:

• Technical Stack: Frontend: Vue.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (experience with React or Angular is a plus) Backend: Node.js, RESTful API development, secure integration patterns Authentication & Authorization: Azure-based identity and access management (RBAC, roles, permissions) DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub workflows, automated build and deployment pipelines, release management Cloud: Azure ecosystem
