IT Infrastructure Engineer - Warrington - Hybrid

IT Infrastructure Engineer Location: Warrington, Cheshire (hybrid - up to 3 days in the office, 2 from home) In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects. You'll play a key role in shaping and supporting both cloud and on-premise environments, working closely with teams across the business. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working across multiple technologies. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of technical delivery across a range of infrastructure projects Work closely with internal teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and aligned to business needs Act as a senior point of contact for infrastructure-related queries and escalations Contribute to the development of technical standards, processes and best practices Support ongoing improvements across the infrastructure estate Assist with troubleshooting complex issues and provide root cause analysis Esseential Skills and Experience Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in a mid-to-large scale environment Strong background across Microsoft infrastructure and hybrid environments Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure Solid understanding of virtualisation technologies (eg VMware or Hyper-V) Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with Scripting and automation (eg PowerShell) Desirbale Skills and Experience Experience working in a project-led or design & build environment Exposure to M365 and modern workplace technologies Experience supporting enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions To From Record Yes No Always use these settings Oscar Associates (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
