Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant - Permanent - Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high - quality Finance & Operations implementations for our clients. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, configuring and optimising the Dynamics 365 Finance module, and ensuring solutions align with best-practice financial processes.
This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting, hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal delivery teams
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with clients to gather, analyse, and document business requirements across finance and accounting processes
- Design, configure, and tailor Dynamics 365 Finance solutions to meet client needs and industry best practices
- Provide expert guidance on financial management, budgeting, period close, and financial reporting within Dynamics 365 Finance
- Support system testing, data validation, and issue resolution to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support as required
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support integration with other Dynamics 365 modules and third-party systems
- Keep up to date with Dynamics 365 Finance features, releases, and roadmap developments, proactively recommending improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 Finance and recommend improvements to existing solutions
Experience and Knowledge:
Essential -
- Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant or in a similar functional role
- Strong understanding of core finance processes, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Budgeting & Financial Planning, Financial Reporting
- Hands-on experience configuring and customising Dynamics 365 Finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable -
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certifications
- Experience working in a consultancy or client-facing delivery environment
