Job description - the role On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a two Procurement Specialists (Technology/Software Sourcing) for 3 monthcontracts based in London with remote work available. Join us as a Procurement Specialist. We are seeking two Procurement Specialists to support our technology and software sourcing activities. The ideal candidates will be skilled at engaging stakeholders, challenging assumptions, negotiating with suppliers, and driving procurement execution from requirements gathering through to contract finalization. This role requires strong communication, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a fast moving environment. What you'll do: Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Gathering - Work closely with internal stakeholders to capture, clarify, and validate procurement requirements. Challenge assumptions around volume, timing, specifications, dependencies, and delivery expectations ("what do you need, how many, and when"). Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on timelines, risks, and procurement processes. Procurement Execution - Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract support. Execute buyer-level procurement tasks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and governance. Coordinate supplier meetings, documentation, and follow up actions. Supplier & Vendor Management - Engage with suppliers and vendors to gather information, clarify requirements, and support commercial discussions. Lead pricing conversations and negotiate commercial terms to secure competitive value. Support sourcing initiatives with a strong focus on software, technology, and related services. Commercial & Project Support - Contribute to pricing analysis, cost breakdowns, and negotiation strategies. Track procurement progress, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables are met. Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding status, risks, and next steps. The skills you'll need: Experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management (technology/software preferred) Ability to challenge requirements constructively and diplomatically. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities. Detail oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills. Strong negotiation skills.
