Power BI Developer - EdTech

Power BI Developer - 12 Month FTC Remote (UK-based) An established and rapidly growing UK EdTech organisation is looking to hire a Power BI Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the continued evolution of its data and reporting capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative Business Intelligence function and play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organisation to drive decision-making. The Role You will be responsible for deg and delivering high-quality dashboards and reports, working closely with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into meaningful insights. Key responsibilities include: Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports Transforming raw data into structured, usable datasets Developing robust data models and writing efficient DAX Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and refine reporting needs Ensuring data accuracy, performance, and usability across reporting solutions Supporting wider BI initiatives and continuous improvement Required Experience Experience developing dashboards in Power BI Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelling Ability to work with multiple data sources (eg SQL, Excel, APIs) Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail Nice to Have Exposure to data governance or data quality frameworks Experience in a multi-site or growing organisation Microsoft certifications in Power BI McGregor Boyall is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on any grounds.
